Bystander Intervention

As social safety in and around the nightlife is more relevant and important than ever, 013 feels responsible to take responsibility. Together with Feniks, we have therefore organised several free Bystander Intervention trainings in Dutch. Now, we offer a free Bystander Intervention training in English. This way, we can contribute together to an inclusive and welcoming nightlife.

During this interactive training, participants will learn:

• what sexual transgressive behaviour is and how to recognise it;
• how gender norms and stereotypes contribute to transgressive behaviour and gender-based violence;
• why it is so important to intervene and what role men can play as part of the solution;
• how you, as a bystander, can intervene effectively using the 5 D’s.

The trainings are open to everyone, from 013 staff and volunteers to visitors. You can reserve a spot by claiming a free ticket through our ticketshop.

NOTE: There is a maximum of 50 participants per training.
